My parents went to Hawaii in June of 07 and brought
each of my sisters and I an orchid. It was just a twig and with great
faith I planted it and have been watering it for a year and
5 months thinking it wouldn't bloom until next summer but to
my surprise it bloomed in Nov. and now today it has 5 blooms
and 5 are just little buds. The funnest thing about waiting
a year and half for flowers is that the shop keeper that breeds
the flower said that not two orchids are the same. Mom is
a little jealous that my orchid bloomed first her orchid has beautiful
leaves but no flowers yet:)
